HM Passport Office (HMPO) are creating a service so you can renew your passport online. We want to test this service with Deaf people who need to renew their passport.

We are running research interviews on Monday 29th February during the day at Government Digital Service offices at Aviation House, 125 Kingsway, London WC2B 6SE. You will be paid 60 pounds in vouchers for the interview.

About the research interviews:

• We want to speak to Deaf people who’s first or preferred language is BSL.
• We particularly want to speak to people who sometimes struggle using the Internet or online forms
• The interviews will take an hour and a half.

Data Management Officer - DCAL

DCAL Centre is an ESRC funded research centre, studying the communication, language and cognition of Deaf and deaf people with two aims: to understand these issues in relation to Deaf and deaf people, and as a model system for understanding these issues in relation to human language and cognition generally. DCAL's current funding finishes at the end of 2015.

Applications are invited for a data manager to catalogue, coordinate and undertake the transfer and review of data and documentation deposits arising from DCAL activities, and to provide support for depositing data with the UK Data Service and other archives.
